Yamada smiled as he watched Chinen pounce onto Takaki’s back, whispering something it seemed only the 2 of them knew. Takaki grinned and nodded his head, piggybacking Chinen out of the rehearsal room, the small boy resting his face on the arc of Takaki’s neck.
